Bread - Potassium Bromate



Potassium Bromate is found in bread and other baked goods. It’s added to flour to strengthen the dough, allow it to rise higher and give the finished bread a more appealing white color. It has been linked to cancer.  Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Union have banned it.
